Göğüş Jewelry was founded in 1971 as a small workshop in Istanbul.
Over the years, it has built on its craftsmanship experience, combining precise production techniques, refined surface finishing, and distinctive design.
Today, Göğüş Jewelry creates carefully crafted pieces in the requested karat and specifications, delivering them to customers around the world.
Our Production Process
Gold Alloying
The gold alloy is prepared according to the target karat standard and carefully melted using induction heat to create the first raw material for production.
Melting Alloy
The molten alloy is poured into an ingot mold, forming a solid gold block that is then prepared to be rolled through the rolling mill; this step forms the basis for the subsequent shaping stages.
Rolling Down the Ingot
The ingot taken from the mold is carefully thinned using a rolling mill; the thickness and surface smoothness directly affect the precision of the following production stages.
Annealing
The rolled and thinned gold is softened again through annealing; this step improves the material’s workability and prepares it for the following forming stages.
Further Rolling
The annealed gold is rolled again and gradually thinned until it reaches the target dimensions, forming the sheet material. This brings the sheet closer to the thickness required by the design.
Strip Cutting
The prepared sheet material is cut to the required dimensions and separated according to the production plan. Each piece is then individually prepared for the following assembly and forming stages.
Press Forming
Parts shaped with press dies create the geometry of the design. This stage is also one of the oldest techniques in jewelry production.
Bench Soldering
The hemispherical pieces are carefully joined in the first assembly stage. Heat control is critical to soldering the parts without distorting their form. This stage is carried out with the experience gained over many years of craftsmanship.
Polishing & Surface Finishing
The piece is polished to refine its surface and bring out its brilliance; the character of the final appearance and the way it reflects light become defined at this stage.
Assembly
The components are brought together by hand to complete the final assembly of the jewelry. This skilled step determines comfort, proportion, and balance of movement. Each piece is assembled with careful consideration of the potential issues the wearer may experience during use.
